AML Policy
How we address money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions risks when you use Racby.
01Purpose and scope
If you notice suspicious activity involving your account or our services, please contact support@racby.com immediately.
This policy explains how we address money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions risks when you use Racby. Please read it alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Money laundering involves concealing the criminal origin of money or other assets. Terrorist financing involves providing or collecting funds to support terrorism. You must not use Racby for either purpose or to evade applicable sanctions.
Racby is operated by Racked Up Ltd., company number 202600662, in Saint Lucia. We take an approach based on risk when assessing accounts and transactions. Depending on the circumstances, we may ask you to verify your identity, confirm payment ownership, or explain where your funds came from.
This policy applies to everyone who uses Racby. It explains the checks we may request, your responsibilities, and the restrictions we may apply when we identify concerns or need to meet legal obligations.
We are responsible for managing these risks and meeting the legal obligations that apply to our business. Our internal procedures support this policy.
02Identity verification and account checks
We carry out checks to understand who uses Racby, protect accounts, and identify suspicious activity. These checks may take place when you register, make a payment, request a withdrawal, or use your account.
We may ask for identification, proof of address, confirmation that a payment method belongs to you, or documents explaining the source of your funds. The information we request depends on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.
You must complete identity verification before using a debit or credit card. Using cryptocurrency does not exempt you from verification or other compliance checks required by law or our assessment of risk.
We review account and transaction activity for unusual patterns and may request updated information or additional documents. Higher risk circumstances may require more detailed checks.
Where a required check cannot be completed, we may restrict your account or decline or delay a transaction. We report suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities when required by law.
03Your responsibilities
You must use Racby only for lawful purposes and with funds obtained legally. You must not use your account to hold, move, or disguise money on behalf of another person.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Documents submitted for verification must be genuine and must not be altered or misleading. Tell us promptly if relevant account information changes.
You must cooperate with our verification and compliance checks, including reasonable requests for information about your identity, payment ownership, account activity, or source of funds. Provide the requested information within the deadline communicated to you in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
We have zero tolerance for multiple or connected accounts. Sharing account access, login details, or devices with another Racby user is prohibited under our Terms and Conditions.
You must not split transactions, use another person’s account, or otherwise attempt to bypass verification, transaction restrictions, or compliance checks.
Requesting account closure or self exclusion does not remove any checks legally required before we can return funds. Self exclusion remains effective while those checks are completed.
04Account restrictions and transaction reviews
We may delay, decline, or stop a transaction, restrict access to your account, or suspend or close your account where we reasonably suspect money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations, fraud, or other unlawful activity.
We may also apply restrictions while required verification remains incomplete or where we must comply with applicable law, a court order, or a lawful direction from a competent authority.
We may review your account information, payment records, and transaction activity to investigate concerns and determine what further checks are needed.
Where legally permitted, we will tell you what information or action we need from you. We may be unable to disclose details where doing so would be prohibited by law or could compromise an investigation.
A compliance review does not, by itself, mean that your funds are forfeited. Any continued holding, return, or other treatment of funds must follow applicable law and the relevant provisions of our Terms and Conditions.
05How we use and share information
We use account information, verification documents, and transaction records to carry out compliance checks, investigate suspicious activity, prevent fraud, and meet our legal obligations.
Where necessary and legally permitted, we may share relevant information with identity verification providers, payment providers, financial institutions, fraud prevention services, and professional advisers who support these purposes.
We may also disclose information to competent authorities, law enforcement, or courts where required or permitted by applicable law, including when submitting a suspicious activity report or responding to a lawful request.
We limit disclosures to information relevant to the purpose or required by law. We protect your information using appropriate technical, organisational, and contractual safeguards.
We may be legally prohibited from telling you that a report has been submitted or that information has been requested or disclosed.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information, including retention and your applicable rights.
