Responsible Play
Playing should be entertainment, not a way to earn money or solve financial problems.
01Staying in control
Playing should be entertainment, not a way to earn money or solve financial problems. No win is guaranteed, and you can lose the money you use to play.
Decide how much time and money you are comfortable spending before you start. Keep money for bills, food, housing, and other essentials separate. Never borrow money to play or try to recover losses by spending more.
Take regular breaks. Avoid playing when you are upset, under pressure, or affected by alcohol or drugs. If playing stops feeling enjoyable or becomes difficult to control, step away and seek support.
02Recognising when to take a break
Harmful play is not always easy to recognise. Consider taking a break if you:
Spend more time or money playing than you intended.
Try to win back money you have lost.
Borrow money or use money needed for essentials.
Hide your playing or spending from people close to you.
Find that playing affects your sleep, work, relationships, or wellbeing.
Struggle to stop, even when you want to.
You do not need to wait until things become serious to ask for help. If any of these signs feel familiar, pause your play and speak with someone you trust or an independent support service.
03Account closure and self exclusion
If you want to stop playing, contact support@racby.com to request account closure or self exclusion. Tell us clearly which option you need.
Account closure closes your Racby account. If your request relates to difficulty controlling your play, please tell us so we can treat it as a self exclusion request.
Self exclusion prevents you from playing for your chosen period: 7 days, 15 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 5 years, or permanently.
Fixed self exclusion ends automatically when your selected period expires, and access is restored unless another account restriction applies. If you are not ready to return, contact support@racby.com before it ends to request an extension, or request a new self exclusion at any time.
You cannot shorten or cancel an active self exclusion. Permanent self exclusion never expires and cannot be reversed.
While your self exclusion remains in effect, you must not create another account or use someone else’s account to access Racby.
Any verification legally required before we can return your remaining funds does not delay or cancel your self exclusion. You do not need to continue playing to complete those checks.
04Practical ways to stay in control
Set yourself a spending limit and a time limit before you start. Keep track of what you deposit, withdraw, and spend, rather than focusing only on individual wins.
Use reminders to take breaks, and make room for activities away from gambling. If you find yourself repeatedly going beyond your own limits, consider self exclusion and independent support.
You can also explore gambling blocking software and ask your bank whether it offers a gambling payment block. These are additional safeguards, not a replacement for seeking help when you need it.
05Independent support
You do not have to deal with gambling difficulties alone. Independent support is available whether you are concerned about your own gambling or someone close to you.
Gambling Therapy provides free practical advice and emotional support worldwide, with multilingual support options.
Gamblers Anonymous offers peer support for people who want to stop gambling. Its meeting directory can help you find a group.
Gam-Anon provides support for family members and friends affected by someone else’s gambling.
Our support team can help with your Racby account, account closure, or self exclusion. For counselling or treatment, contact an independent support service or a qualified healthcare professional.
06Protecting minors
Racby is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old and meet any higher minimum age required where you live.
Never allow a minor to use your account or make payments through it. Keep your login details and payment information secure, and sign out when you finish using Racby.
If children can access your devices, use parental controls or website blocking tools to help prevent access to gambling services.
If you suspect that a minor has accessed or created a Racby account, contact support@racby.com immediately so we can investigate and restrict access.
